With a strong presence in Malaysia and within the region, it is known for its commitment to excellence and adherence to global standards.Job DescriptionProvide legal support on a range of commercial contracts including trading, sales, and distribution agreements. Ensure risk mitigation through sound legal advice. Maintain and update standard contract templates and support compliance with internal policies and external regulations.Manage the organization's Intellectual Property portfolio including filings, renewals, enforcement, and disputes. Collaborate with business units to develop IP strategies. Oversee external counsel on clearance searches, prosecution, and contentious matters. Draft and review IP-related agreements such as NDAs and licenses.Oversee litigation and arbitration cases, manage timelines and budgets, and coordinate with external counsel. Advise on settlement strategies in collaboration with relevant business units.Advise on corporate governance, licensing, regulatory compliance, and cross-border issues. Support regulatory filings and assist in responding to investigations or enforcement actions.Prepare and review board resolutions, meeting minutes, and statutory filings. Liaise with company secretaries to ensure compliance with corporate requirements and maintain statutory records.Drive awareness of legal policies, deliver internal training, and lead or support legal department initiatives.
