Job Description

  • Comprehensive Financial Oversight: Manage the complete financial lifecycle of projects, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, revenue recognition, and final account closures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Operational Finance Management: Oversee daily finance operations related to projects, including processing invoices, managing payments, handling project-related banking activities, and ensuring efficient financial workflows.
  • In-depth Financial Analysis and Reporting: Conduct thorough financial analysis of project performance, identify key variances, provide insightful reports to project managers and stakeholders, and recommend corrective actions to improve profitability and efficiency.
  • Strategic Business Planning Support: Actively participate in the business planning process by providing financial data, analysis, and insights to support strategic decision-making, including evaluating project feasibility and contributing to long-term financial projections.
  • Risk Management and Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal controls, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations for all project-related financial activities, proactively identifying and mitigating potential financial risks.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication: Liaise effectively with project managers, operational teams, senior management, auditors, and other stakeholders to provide financial clarity, address queries, and contribute to successful project delivery and overall business objectives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Finance Manager should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA is a plus.
  • Prior experience in a similar role within the property/construction industry.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
